Espresso with Tazio Modena
by PzlWksMedia

For hard core auto history buffs, here is a great espresso bar in Modena, italy. So you walk in and now your transported back in the golden age of motor racing in Italy. So behind you is Tazio Nuvolari , the man who perfected the ability to "drift" and "slide" Grand Prix cars 70 years before the "tuner babies" came along.

This guy was so fast and did it with skinny hard tires at triple digit speeds in the 1920's when Alfa and Maserati were the kings of racing world. Oh and also no seat belts either. GP racing pre 1939 was a world where engines were supercharged on alcohol and gas mixtures. Some were 4 wheel drive and dual engine.

For all you Maserati Fans....you should know the Maserati that Tazio is sitting on. The Cafe is across the street from the Maserati factory in Modena, Italy. So when were waiting for our appointment, we sit here and have espresso with Tazio. The interior is decorated with several photos from Maserati's history. They change them up about every 4 months.
